What are activities?

Activities are structured tasks tied to your programme’s Build Cycles. They appear in the sidebar of the AI Assistant and guide you through each stage of the journey.

Types of activities

Surface responses

A reflection prompt asking you to describe your current practice in a specific area. You write directly in the platform — FE may then reference what you wrote in your next conversation.

AI Reflection sessions

A structured conversation with FE focused on a specific competency or situation. These sessions are linked to your active competency focus for the cycle.

Operate checkpoints

At 30, 60, and 90 days, you complete an Operate conversation where you report back on what you’ve actually done differently. FE evaluates the consistency and depth of your application.

Documents

Some programmes include structured document templates (e.g. a Change Proposal or a Development Plan). FE guides you through each section in Document Guide Mode.

Commitment cards

When FE detects that you’ve made a clear commitment in conversation — “I will…” or “I’m going to…” — it creates a Commitment card in the Activities sidebar. The card shows:
  • What you committed to (extracted from the conversation)
  • When the commitment was made
  • A Mark as done button to confirm you followed through
Marking a commitment as done signals to your facilitator that you’ve completed a meaningful action step. It also helps FE build a more accurate picture of your practice over time.

Completing activities

As you complete activities, the programme sidebar updates to reflect your progress through the current Build Cycle. Your facilitator can see the same view.
